Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz Reportedly Sell NJ Mansion for $6M

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz have finally sold their Englewood, NJ, mansion—after seven years and a couple of price cuts.

The $6 million sale represents a rare off-key note for the Grammy winner and her record producer husband, who bought the lavish estate in 2013 for $10.4 million from fellow superstar Eddie Murphy.

A year later, the couple purchased adjoining acreage for $1.7 million, according to the New York Post. Their total outlay was $12.1 million.

After extensive renovations to the 25,000-square-foot mansion, the couple listed it for $14.9 million in 2015 and then took it off the market in 2016. The mansion was relisted last August for $9.9 million.

Built in 1980, the sprawling mansion is set on 3.91 acres. It has six bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.

Notable features include two elevators, formal living and dining rooms, a chef’s kitchen, home theater, indoor pool, bowling alley, recording studio, and sunroom.

The grounds are gated and there are two additional lots to truly spread out.

Perhaps the couple have decided to spend more time on the West Coast, now that they own the Razor House in La Jolla, CA. They dropped $20.8 million on the ultramodern cliffside home in 2019. The mansion’s spectacular interior redesign was featured in a video shoot with Architectural Digest.

In 2021, the couple unloaded their desert mountain home in Phoenix for $3.1 million.

The vacation pad featured a home theater, game room, wet bar, exercise room, and 800-bottle wine cellar. Out back, there’s a negative-edge pool.
