Giuliana and Bill Rancic Sell Their Idaho Lake House for $5.6M

The “E! News” host Giuliana Rancic and her husband, Bill Rancic, have let go of their Idaho lake house. The remodeled retreat sold for $5.6 million in October.

The celebrity couple had put their Harrison, ID, getaway on the market in July for $7,695,000.

When the couple purchased the property in 2016, it was not exactly move-in ready. Instead, the “Fashion Police” host embarked on a major makeover.

The homeowners tapped a longtime collaborator, the interior designer Lonni Paul, to help with their vision.

The “rustic minimalism” result appeared in an Architectural Digest feature in 2018. Alas, no photos can be found on the Realtor.com® listing. However, we can get a sense of the gorgeous do-over from images of the AD photoshoot on Giuliana’s Instagram account.

Rancic appeared to be spending time in the updated five-bedroom abode as recently as last June, when she sashayed through the open living area to promote her clothing line.

There’s plenty of room to prance through this spacious, 4,286-square-foot space. It has a great room, glass doors along the back wall with lake views, and an open kitchen.

A glorious master suite features a sculptural, stand-alone tub.

Other design elements include massive wood beams, a stone fireplace, a wall of firewood, and an antler chandelier.

While this was an impressive remodel, the couple, who have one child together, seem to be ready to move on from the home to their next project.

Although they accepted a discounted price to close the deal, they probably realized some upside from their Idaho investment, even after figuring in the home renovation costs.

The lake house had been on the market in 2016 for $1.85 million, and then sold that year for an undisclosed amount to the Rancics.

The home flippers have done this before. In 2018, they placed their renovated Victorian row house in Chicago on the market for $6.8 million. It sold the following year for $5 million.

Giuliana has co-hosted “E! News” since 2005, as well as many a red carpet event during awards season over the years.
