Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris has a real estate victory to add to his accolades.
Harris and his husband, David Burtka, finally sold their Harlem townhouse. It was listed in August for $7,325,000 and just sold for $7.1 million, according to the Real Deal. The sale price is expected to set a record for the neighborhood.
Harris and Burtka paid $3,582,000 for the place in 2013, according to Realtor.com. They performed a “meticulous restoration” of the 8,000-square-foot, five-floor home. Dating from 1908, the five-bedroom residence now features restored woodwork and wainscoting, along with 12-foot-high ceilings.
The spectacular space includes three gas fireplaces, four outdoor spaces, and a huge, vintage bar.
A staircase leads up to a loftlike living and dining area and an adjacent modern kitchen.
On the third floor, the primary suite comes with a walk-in closet, marble bath, and outdoor hot tub.
Other rooms include a library, an office, and a roof deck.
