The popular personality has put her stylish modern farmhouse in Sherman Oaks, CA, on the market for $3,375,000. That is $900,000 more than what she paid for the place a little over a year ago.

Braxton purchased the newly renovated home in September 2020 for $2,475,000. During her tenure as owner, it appears she’s done a little interior decorating of her own.

Inside, there are still six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and 3,800 square feet of living space, but it’s been glammed up with black-and-white wallpaper, matching window treatments, and fancier light fixtures. Pops of color and a steady stream of black-and-white stripes can be found throughout, and gold-toned features have also been added.

Before Sherman Oaks, Braxton lived in a 15,000-square-foot mansion in Calabasas, CA. Her grand estate spread out over almost 2 acres and included such bells and whistles as a professional gym, glam room salon, home theater, wine cellar, and elevator.

She paid $10.5 million for the home in 2013, but with liens piling up and a divorce pending, she sold it at a loss in 2018, for $9.25 million.

While the Sherman Oaks residence is a little less ostentatious, it has plenty of charms. It sits a few blocks north of Ventura Boulevard, within walking distance of a brand-new Whole Foods market and trendy restaurants.

Highlights include an open floor plan, hardwood floors, high-beamed ceilings, and the ever-popular shiplap walls.

The heart of the home is a luxe kitchen, with a walk-in pantry, custom cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, as well as a unique island with an attached breakfast table.

Bedrooms upstairs include a sumptuous primary suite with a fireplace, private balcony, and walk-in closet. The luxe primary bathroom features double sinks and a makeup vanity.

Braxton’s son was playfully accommodated in a bright-blue bunkroom with a homework station.

Amenities continue in the backyard, which features green lawns and tall hedges for privacy. Highlights include a pool with a waterfall, as well as a built-in barbecue station and fire pit.

There’s also a one-bedroom cabana that can be used as a guesthouse, office, or recording studio.

Wherever Braxton winds up next, a recording studio may be essential, as she’s announced she’s busy at work on not one but two new albums, to be released this year.

Braxton, 44, is the youngest of the famous Braxton sisters, Toni, Trina, and Towanda. She got her start performing with her siblings in The Braxtons.

She’s fashioned a career in reality television and starred in the reality show “Braxton Family Values” for seven seasons. She was also on Season 2 of “Celebrity Big Brother,” and starred in two other reality shows, “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!” and “To Catch a Beautician,” which is ongoing.
