Christina Haack Reportedly Planning To Sell Coastal Mansion for $11.5M

“Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack may have yet another flip in her future. She’s ready to toss her Orange County mansion back on the market for $11.5 million, according to TMZ.

She scooped up the coastal casa in Dana Point, CA, for $10.3 million in July 2021.

The listing photos haven’t been updated yet, but the brand-new build didn’t appear in need of a makeover when it was listed last year.

However, the queen of quick redesigns likely added her signature style before moving on.

Spanning 6,084 square feet, the contemporary abode comes with five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

The open floor plan features a great room adjacent to the formal dining room and chef’s kitchen, all with views of the Pacific Ocean.

Other high-end details include an office, home theater, and game room with pool table. Folding glass doors extend the living spaces outside.

The spacious backyard boasts a pool, spa, fire pit, and sitting and dining areas. On the rooftop is a deck with a fireplace.

Located in a guard-gated community, the home comes with access to a beach club.

Is it priced right?

So, will the popular star of“Christina on the Coast” make her money back—and more? Perhaps Haack’s timing is on point.

“Given current market conditions, it is very likely that Christina will make a significant profit on her home sale. It is not unusual at all for people to be making $1 million or more in some cases on ultraluxury properties in today’s market,” says Cara Ameer, an agent with Coldwell Banker licensed in California and Florida.

“The home is turnkey and move-in ready, and that is what people in this price range desire,” says Ameer. “They want to be able to start enjoying a purchase of this caliber immediately.”

The price, while high, is justified by the location, she adds. “Buyers looking in the $10 million to $15 million range in coastal Orange County do have a variety of choices, depending on what they are looking for. Ultimately it comes down to what specific location(s) buyers value most, and her home is aggressively priced to sell and will be the lowest priced one in her gated community for sale.”

Haack’s previous purchase might offer some insight into her recent listing.

The Dana Point purchase came shortly after she sold her remodeled Newport Beach pad for $5.3 million in June 2021.

The HGTV star purchased that home in 2018 for $4.1 million and added a number of custom touches, much of it done in front of cameras.

The picture-perfect place was the backdrop for her much-publicized wedding to Ant Anstead.

After the two split, she unloaded the house, offering it up fully furnished.

The Hamptons-style, 4,800-square-foot, five-bedroom home was initially listed for $6 million, then reduced to $5.5 million after fewer than 10 days on the market. It was sold two months later for $5.3 million.
